This is a soundboard transducer and body mic. Taylor guitars with the "ce" designation have the expression system. Voila, zero latency direct recording into FL Studio's playlist. You just open up FL Studio's mixer, select your channel inputs, arm these channels, enable direct monitoring and mute the hardware inputs in your soundcard control panel. I record direct into FL Studio so theres no need for Audacity. The AT4040s/4033s also go into mic inputs with 48V phantom power. The K&K transducer goes into a mic input on an RME Fireface UFX set to instrument level and I use the gain from the onboard micstasy preamps to get a decent signal.

The K&K has its own external preamp and the output impedance is not that high so it can go straight into a line input on a soundcard and its fine.

I normally use AT4040s or AT4033s in addition to that. I have a Taylor 712 fitted with a K&K trinity mini soundboard transducer.
